INTRODUCTION
Beauty Parlor Management System is basically a web-based application that is built in Codeigniter, PHP, Html, Bootstrap, CSS, JS (javascript), and jQuery. And for the backend of the system, SQL server has been used (i.e. Database) so that it will be easy to retrieve later. Also, the main aim of the system is to help the user to book online appointment in the beauty parlor.
The system is basically for the users where they can book an appointment in salon / beauty parlor. The users of the system include the customers where they can register initially with the minimum details and will be allowed to make an appointment. Moreover, the system has two panels i.e. Admin, Parlor admin and User. The user can make an appointment in the parlor and the Parlor admin of the system approves or rejects it. Besides, the user can also modify this scheme according to their requirements.
Besides, they can also choose the service which they are trying to get within their specific date and time in the system. All these activities of making appointments such as choosing service as well as date and time will be recorded in the database for all the events. This project integrates a login panel for a more secure system. Moreover, the system also provides contact details so that the user has no difficulty in searching the parlor. Besides, the user can visit parlor at a specific date and time as the system already records the appointment made by them.
1.1 Project Objective
This software helps the parlor admin to see all detail in brief like total number of customers, total number of appointments, rejected appointments, accepted appointments, total services, today’s sale, yesterday’s sale and total sales.
This software helps users to take appointments with beauty parlors on particular date and time. Users view the services offer by the parlors. User can see the details of beauty parlor and can contact with that beauty parlor.
1.2 Project Overview
The central concept of Online Beauty Parlor Management system is to allow users to find and book online services provided by beauty parlors from anywhere,
without visiting the parlor physically. Despite of this, parlors can manage their services, view stats of booked, accepted and rejected appointments.
1.3 Project Scope
The project has a wide scope, as it is not intended to a particular beauty parlor. This project is going to develop generic software, which can be applied by any beauty parlor. Moreover it provides facility to its users.
- The objective of the proposed system is to overcome the existing way of beauty parlor services with online appointments.
- The system will store all the basic data processing needs the beauty parlor.

STUDY OF EXISTING SYSTEM
System analysis is the process of gathering and interpreting facts, identifying problems and using the information to recommend improvements on the system. System analysis is a problem solving activity that requires intensive communication between the system users and system developers. System analysis or study is an important phase of any system development process. The system is viewed as a whole, the inputs are identified and the system is subjected to close study to identify the problem areas. The solutions are given as a proposal. The proposal is reviewed on user request and suitable changes are made. This loop ends as soon as the user is satisfied with the proposal.
2.1 Existing System
According to our research there is no existing system as compare to our project, whereas there is some other site that provided some specific type of information.
2.1.1 Disadvantages of the Existing Systems Process
In present system you have to call the salon to book an appointment. After taking an appointment you have to remember the date of the appointment. User is also not able to find the best salon in their locality. He can find out the services of any salon only after taking their services. But in proposed system you can check, review online and find out who is giving best services. User can also check that which salon has good customer satisfaction. Many salons today are still using paper and pencil systems to schedule appointments and manage customers. These systems are grossly inefficient at sharing and syncing information, and are prone to costly human error. In current system salon take appointment on register. They manage customer record on register. And it is very difficult to find out old appointment details in this system. Making report for the salon business is also very tiresome task. This system is prone to costly human error. Beauty parlor management system allow salon to manage stylists and services, promote sales to customers, and track customer satisfaction.
2.2 Proposed System
Our project is for those people who want to get the best services of salon. The central concept of Online Beauty Parlor Management system is to allow users to find.
