PROJECT OVERVIEW
In”ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM” a voter can use his her voting right online without any difficulty. He\She has to fill a registration form to register himself herself. All the entries is checked by the DATABASE which has already all information about the voter. If all the entries are correct then a USER ID and PASSWORD is given to the voter, by using that ID and PASSWORD helshe can use his her vote. If conditions are wrong then that entry will be discarded.
PROJECT SCOPE
The proposed system is Online Voting System (OVM). The OVM (online voting system) is developed to handle your project is really user friendly website. You can produce a report based on your choice (daily, weekly, monthly or yearly). The online portal provided a joy and case to use.

ELECTION AUTHORITY:
Registration of the voter is done by ELECTION AUTHORITY, It can change the information any time if required Registration of the Voter depends upon the information filled by the user manually to the ELECTION AUTHORITY. Voter is given a unique Login ID and PASSWORD. In the DATABASE information of every voter is stored. Database shows the information of every user.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:
Problems with the Existing Voter Registration System is The problems of the existing manual system of voting include among others the following: 1.Expensive and Time consuming 2.Too much paper work 3.Errors during data entry 4.Loss of registration forms 5.Short time provided to view the voter register
